Here was my first attempt at turning a segmented Salad bowl. I used a 12 segment design using Manzanita wood, Oak, Birch, Walnut, Cherry and Padauk. I learned a good lesson on this one when I reverse chucked the bowl to finish the bottom. I used a jamb chuck with a paper towl cushion which got a little hot and scorched the inside bottom of the bowl a little. I was over all pleased with the outcome.
