Other projects I’ve done this year
1st pic, tumbling blocks, maple and walnut, for a friend(plans)
2nd cherry and sapele, last of the cherry a friend gave me from her farm.(plans)
3rd, fatherinlaw (94) came to live with us and needed a lamp table beside his bed. pine, no plan just an idea.

I especially like your first box Howie. Well done on both of them though.
Did you use a gel stain on the pine?

Nice 3D effect on the boxes. Good work.
-- Life is about choices. You can spend a lot of money on furniture and have really nice furniture; Or you can spend a lot on tools and have even more expensive, crappy furniture. I made my choice.
