Here is a custom set of pool table chairs ( observation chairs) extra tall for viewing the game. Log legs and spindals, live edge slabs on seat, foot rest and armrest. The top log and uprights are wrapped with deer hide that was stained and finished. The chairs have 3 coats of water borne poly the waxed with 0000 steel wool.
The seats have been routed out on the bottom in 3 strips and oak insert placed in for some heavy weight sitting. I even took a grinder and gave the seats a butt shape so that they were not flat. The customer loved them and order a pub table and a cue stick holder to match them. Better get the shop warmed up and get busy.

Lovely! I have a mission billiard (observation) bench that was in an old pool hall. What a great set of rustic chairs.

Very cool and inspiring for those of us who like the rustic style. Well done.
