I made this box with my 11-year-old son. It was a great way to spend his Christmas vacation.

Nothing better and the box is great.

Did you use the Milescraft templates? Were they easy to use? If you did use it, what did you inlay the design with? The box is beautiful and that corner pin idea is really neat.

I use the http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000KI8SCO?ie=UTF8&tag=wooforall-20&linkCode=as2&camp=1789&creative=9325&creativeASIN=B000KI8SCO
with a V-Groove bit.

Then I paint the grooves with black acrylic paint. It only takes about 10 minuites or so to dry then I sand over the design with 220 grit paper to remove any paint that went outside the lines. Blow out the dust and the design pops!

The kit is very easy to use.

Thanks for the good news, Dave. That’s the kit I bought.
