My wife collects nativity sets. So this year we had each one of the grandkids paint a 5” X 5” picture to represent the nativity scene. The youngest is 16 months and the oldest 16 years. The pictures were mailed to me and I received the last one a week before Christmas. I hurried and made this little frame (stable) with a small shelf on the bottom. Our youngest Grandson is only 4 months old and our youngest daughter says she plans to have more kids so I made a coulpe places for additional pictures. My wife was totally surprised and says this is her most prized nativity set of her entire collection.

It was a fun project and I can’t believe we got all the grand kids to get their pictures done. Even though the teenagers waited till the last minute.

John, Now that is some pictures to be treasured for sure. They all did a very nice job and I really like the stand or frame it looks like the manger, which I am sure you intended. Great story…

Hey Max thanks for commenting. The frame actually hangs on the wall but Linda can’t make up her mind where she wants it. Happy New Year!

John a neat idea for a gift. What a great way to get the whole family involved. I can see why it would be her most prized one.

The best gifts are those with a personal touch and a story. This has personal touches from 11 people and a great story as well. Nice project! Thanks for sharing.

That is so cool. It looks professionally done. You have a very talented family. All the paintings look great and they compliment each other.
