Pretty basic walnut mantle clock. Started this a while back after drawing out a rough sketch on my workbench. Didn’t really put enough thought into it and had to adjust as I went. I planned on a hinged door on the front but after I built the door something just wasn’t right. So today I put some boiled linseed oil on it and stuck in a cheap battery operated mechanism and decided to stare at it a while and decide if I want a door or just quit.

Looks good without a door.
-- Life is about choices. You can spend a lot of money on furniture and have really nice furniture; Or you can spend a lot on tools and have even more expensive, crappy furniture. I made my choice.

Looks good just like it is!
-- Regret- the feeling you get just after you do something really stupid.
