I started this on Christmas Day, It was shortly after watching parts one and 2 of the “WoodWhisperers” Trestle table. Thanks Marc, I did learn something, See! 10degree angles on curvey pieces, sculpted legs, feet and “Kankles”. Anyway I made this from Cherry and Mohagany. Finish is BLO, Amber Shellac, GFs Java flavored gel stain, several coats more of amber shellac, a slight wipe down of mineral oil in between coats. The cherry was simpler, BLO and blonde shellac, again, light mineral oil wipe downs between coats of shellac, It is kind of a quicker french polish technique, seems to work pretty good if you ask me. I was going to Title this ” Quilt Rack inspired by a maloof inspired trestle table

Very nice sculptural piece! Now if I can get my wife to let go of her old one and replace it with something sweet like this, we’d be in business! Nicely done!

Very nice work, It would look great next to Marc’s table or should I say a table just like Marc’s.
