Cat Lover’s Cat Condo
Cats were once worshiped as Gods
and they have never forgotten this.
We have senior cats and getting on top of the sofa and beds is getting hard for them, so I made this cat condo from scrap 3/4” plywood and covered it with scrap beige carpet, after a couple of weeks I found a 4’x12’ heavy blue runner at Home Depot that matched our sofa and carpet, it stands up to energetic claw sharping. There is a step in the back with access to a back door, the second floor apartment has a porthole viewing port, the first floor has doors on both sides, there is room for 2 on the top deck. The cat condo is used daily to hang out, hide away and cat nap!

I am so glad LOML’s cats do not read Jumberjocks—cause I know what I would be doing next :) A “feline-fine” project if there ever was one!

nice! I’ve made my share of cat trees, for sure. It’s actually what got me into real woodworking.

Think I’ve made about…15 or so by now.

Is this a cat condo or a temple? A nice project for the ‘gods’. I think I will do one of these ‘temples’ for ours.l Thanks for the inspiration.
