I had watched this project on Wood Smith on TV and Blondie liked them. The first set I made I was not happy with. The Dado set I had was junk. Even Backing up the wood it was chipping out the wood. I went and bought the Freud Dado Pro set and WOW what a difference! What a incredible difference.

I made them out of scraps from making cutting boards. One is Rock Maple and Black Walnut The other two are Rock Maple and Paduak. I had made one other one twith the Base was Paduak and Maple Feet but didn’t take pic as it was sold before X-mas
Thx for Looking.

Great looking projects. I have these on my list of things to do “this” year. Don’t think it’s going to happen now.

Hey Ken,
Very nice! I saw the same project in a magazine but haven’t attempted it yet. It’s on the list.
Also I like your brand… I’ve been planning on making a brand myself but nothing as fancy. Just a three character one. I’ll post a pic when I get off my butt to do it.
At any rate, great candle holders!
Happy New Year.

Seeing all these wonderful candle holders is making me want to build a few. I’ll make a note for Christmas 2011.

Very nice work. I liked your modification of the Woodsmith design so much that I “borrowed” it and made 3 of these for Christmas gifts. Thanks for posting!

I have had many requests since I made mine. If you don’t mind me asking…how much do you sell yours for?
