I did this bowl a couple weeks ago. This bowl is 6 pieces of 3/4” oak plywood glued together and shaped into a bowl. Had fun turning this bowl. Will do more like this. I like the way the layers come out. Bowl stands 4 1/2” high & 5 1/2” wide & the opening. Finished with a some beeswax mixed with orange oil. If nothing else, it smells good!!!

Really like this Adam. Terrific shape and proportions. I agree that the layers came out wonderfully. Beautiful job.

Adam that is a real nice bowl.
I like the Oak,
Did you gut the rings before gluing up?

Thanks Richards, it was a lil difficult to turn but I think it turned out ok. Jamie, the bowl was just 6 flat pieces of wood and I glued them together and put them on the lathe and turned it into a bowl.
