Mobile Island I made for SIL for Christmas. It took me about a month to complete and I did it twice. Top is from ikea, as well as the shelf. It was just too much money and my lack of skill to try and make the top myself in time for Christmas. Painted to match the cabinets. Its got flaws but she didn’t notice, so I guess thats all that matters.

Nice! Looks very useful, and I bet she loves it.

Everyone says that we notice the flaws most in our own projects, but I swear, mine are glaringly obvious, and anyone who says “oh, I don’t see it” is just blind as a bat…
