The chest sides are made from a single board that has been cut, and re-joined in assembly to create a beautiful grain-wrap pattern at the corners. Removable drawer dividers for easy cleaning or to create more open space. Solid-wood, book-matched tops are chosen for extraordinary grain-pattern. The joints of the jewelry boxes are mitered and accented with 4 pairs of splines, made from a contrasting wood. Draws are made with interlocking box joints for strength. The size of the jewelry is 12”w x 9”d x 4 ¼”h. The woods used are (TOP – Maple and Purpleheart, Box Sides American black Walnut, Dividers Mahogany, Feet Maple) Finished with two coats of M. L. Campbell Satin Krystal which is post-catalyzed conversion varnish finishing system which is Water white and non-yellowing.
