What a creative idea! I love the “splatters” of inlay! I bet your sister went crazy when she saw this one. And I can see that the sister isn’t the only artist in the family! :)

Well Dave, nice work here! I don’t know how I missed this the first time around, but I did. I actually had a very similar idea to this last week and have been working it out in my head. Then I go and see this today and the wind fell out of my sails!
I’ll keep thinking about it and let it evolve a bit more before I do anything with it, as this project has gone several different directions in my mind.
Very nice work though. I especially like the inscribed text. I had not thought of any sort of inscription. That is very fitting!
