This is a carving of a wizard. sw a video on youtube about how to make this. It was labeled a 5 minute wzard. It took the guy making the video about a half hour. He said it was probably called a 5 minute wizard because it was an easy project. It took me a few days and some new tools to finish it to this point. SWMBO is going to paint the eyes in for me. Not bad for a newbie to carving. I liked it so much I ordered the magazine that it came from. I also am going to subscribe to said magazine (Woodcaring Illustrated). I am also going to join the carver’s guild in my area.

Thanks Grandma for the inspiration

Nice work. That is something I wish I could do.
