This knife has a somewhat pirate like flair to it. It has purpleheart wood and Copper rivets. The steel is very hard; I broke a drill bit designed for metal trying to drill the holes wider. Never did manage to drill through so I settled on copper which was just the right size for the holes. I’m glad that it turned out that way as copper complements the purple heart pretty nicely. Purpleheart wood was used frequently on the sailing ship I volunteered on so I decided to use it to keep up the theme and for the great color.

Nice looking knife, purpleheart works well on it. Where did you find a blade like that? Very nice.
