My wife,Mary, badly needed a new laptop to replace her almost 10 years old Dell.
I bought her a new Acer 17’ laptop with all the bells and whistles for Christ-mas and I also built a small desk with storage for it.
It is all made of Douglas Fir.
She is delighted.

what a nice present! a combination of an objectively serious gift and a personal touch with the custom built table!

Great job Bertrand I did not know that Douglas Fir would come out so nice.
Nice presents too both of them.

Hi Bert;

A home run on both counts…very thoughtful.

And a nice job on the desk.

Nice job. I knew fir was a good wood, but not that good. Thanks for the inspiration ;-)
