First of all, I’d like to thank Andy for this simple box design.
I decided to build each box with using only one type of wood. The first pair is lace, the second is zebra wood, and the last one is walnut. I used green flocking on the bottoms. The photos came out with a bit of a red tint…I’ll stick to woodworking.

There are some woods that I love to cut, because they smell so good…cedar (of course), cherry, walnut…to name a few. Zebra wood is not one of them. It’s beautiful, but has a bad stink.

I finished these just in time, as these boxes will be given away today.
I wish you all a safe and happy holiday.

Thanks for looking,

-- Steve--
