Another project I made from Wood magazine. That magazine is almost as cool as this web site. I gave this box as a Christmas gift. I don’t know why the lid looks darker in the second picture. It’s actually the same color as the box. I bought an expensive camera and still can’t take good pictures. I’ll stick to woodworking instead of photography.

It’s all about angles and light reflection as seen by the camera. It’s a very nice box. Thanks for sharing.

Nice box. Looks like a really good job on the finish. Don’t worry about the photography. This is a woodworking site and your pictures exhibit your work just fine.

Very nice box Glen, The different woods go very well together and the workmanship looks excellent. Don’t give up on the photography, as it is important to best show off your projects. I’m not very good at it yet, but I expect like everything else, that I will get better with experience. So will you.
