This bench measures 72” x 15” x 17.75” and was built with solid pine seat and sides with douglas fir legs and under framing. This was a simple and fun project that challenged me to match the table design and get as close as I could matching the stain. Clients picked up last night and were very happy, and are already talking about another matching bench first of the year. Enjoy!
UPDATE: My client sent me pics of the bench in place with her table, turned out very nice. Added 2 pics 12/24/10

Problem is, with a nice bench, someone will undoubtedly decide to throw some cushions frm Bed, Bath & Beyond all over it! Geez. Wish we could appreciate such a nice one in our dining room.
Nice saw in the background!

Really like the unique proportions on this Mike. And it has a Shaker feel to it. Wow does it look great in her pics! Love it… well done!
