Blue Haze Ukulele Number 4. Romeo and Julieta ‘Rothchilde’ Cigar box. Cherry neck with walnut fretboard. Gold plated hardware and gold alloy frets. Lexan saddle abd brass rod bridge. Mahogany sound-hole trim ring. Lexan nut. 15” ‘Concert’ size scale. Very playable and all the gold looks pretty good. Peizo pickup under bridge in the neck. This one is already sold, to be delivered shortly. It was finished 2010-11-06. Been too busy building to post lately but everything is now caught up for the holidays. Hope all you LJ’s have a great Christmas and Happy New year.

This is a variant of the art form I have underappreciated. I really admire the approach.
I am a foremer musician (1960s) and would love to try out one of these cigar box instruments
best of the season to you

Ray (I’m a son ‘Ray’ too): It sounds prtty much like a small ukulele. The ukes sound better with the small box than the guitars acoustically. Thanks.
