2010 Travel box

Here is the 2010 version of my yearly travel box. This one has seen a year of use.

It is made of cherry with cocobolo miter keys and a bookmatched cocobolo panel for the top. This one has butt hinges and a magnetic catch at the front. Finish is Armor Seal as I recall…

This was a simple box to make although finishing the cocobolo top was a predictable challenge.

Love the Cocobolo ! I have not yet had the pleasure of using it. Nice box.

Great looking top panel. Love the idea of the yearly memory boxes.

Triple ditto on that top. Normally see book matching on big pieces. This looks gorgeous even though it’s smaller. Wonderful piece Richard!
