My first attempt at a jewelry box I copied it from other boxes I have seen on LJ I made it as a Christmas gift for a friend . I hope to make more of these boxes and hopefully do as good as job as the ones I have seen here on LJ. I’m continually inspired by my fellow Lumber Jocks and Jockets and like to wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year

Nice work. I like the contrasting length of the miter keys. Haven’t seen that detail very often.

I would not have thought it your first had you not said so. I feel it turned out very well, and having a deeper miter key to hold the tray is a good idea.

Thanks for sharing.

Looks good from where I sit. I give you props for trying (and succeeding it appears) miters on your first box. 9 boxes for me and I’m still afraid of them! :)

Good job and have a Merry Christmas.
