Bunk beds for my daughters American Girl dolls. Red oak rails and maple posts. Joinery is dowel pins. Finished with 2 coats of poly. The labrador(Oscar) in the first picture is a very curious animal, he has to have his nose in everything. The mattresses are my by my mother with quilts and pillows to follow.
Lessons learned on this project:
Dowel pin holes MUST be parallel in order for your joint to be straight
ALWAYS use a sacrificial piece under ANY part your are drilling so as not to drill through your workpiece and into your new workbench.
Thanks for looking
