Well I finally got one posted. I had made a couple of simple boards a while back and never got pictures before they sold. I made four of these and this is the only one left. It is end grain maple and walnut about 1 1/4 in. thick and 7 X 11.
The two bowls were made with the CMT bowl and tray bit set I reviewed a few days ago. The tree was a cookie cutter that I enlarged and the Candy cane was from a picture that I tweaked a little bit. Tree is maple with cherry stipes (should have used something a little darker) and the candy cane is maple and cherry.
The cutting board and bowls are treated with a mineral oil and bees wax mixture.
The sleigh is from a pattern I got through the Berry Basket. I made it several years ago for my wife. It is made from ash with a danish oil finish. It is about 18 inches long and 11inches high.
Hope ya’ll like it all. Gotta get on the road to watch my son wrestle this evening. Everyone have a Merry Christmas.
