Rocking Horse

Finished the rocking horse for my niece in time for Christmas. Sigh! I combined two free patterns I saved from the web. Made from white pine that I bought by mistake, so that turned out well. I finished it in bright colors, trying for a My Little Pony look. Cross your fingers for me that it fits her OK. She’s 2 1/2 now.

Cute, I’m sure she’ll get a lot of use out of it! Looks like I remember my sister’s My Little Pony…

She will definitely have a favorite uncle after this! Great work, she is sure to love the colors. It looks real sturdy and will delight many children for years.

That rocking horse is really cute. I like the colors and the style and you did a great job on it. The nice thing about woodworking is that you get to build nice things for people that you love.

Vicki: A great job on the rocking horse. When you come to the toy workshop, ask to see the one we might build this year.
