Although the picture is not great this was a neat project. When I started woodworking I found this project In an article but it had very little in the way of drawings. As all new woodworkers I decided there was no way I could build it. Well 18 years later…. I finally tackled it. This piece is solid Cherry with dovetale drawers. I built this for the lovley bride to place in our foryer. Its funny how something that seemed so daunting was really very simple to build.

That’s the great thing about woodworking – you build things one joint at a time. Nice job!

That looks really great. I love the dimensions. I am at that stage where looking at that project is a bit overwhelming. Good to hear that with a little patience it can be on my to-do list as well.
Thanks!
