This rocking horse was made from plans purchased from Rockler (item # 24597) I purchased back in March but I just checked and they are still available.

It’s great to have grandkids to make something like a horse for. I used the same pattern and it has lasted thru 2 granddaughters. I had looked for quite a while for patterns and think that is the best one.

Thanks for sharing. I am in the process of making the same rocker for my granddaughter. Your post has been helpful. I guess I need to get withit because my project is not yet complete. Not to worry still have 9 days.
