Wow! That’s excellent!

It looks like it has all the options, too. Your Granddaughter is one lucky girl.

Very nice. Did you by any chance use plans for this? I’ve always wanted to build something like this for my kids.

Thanks for the comments one and all.
This rocking horse was made from plans purchased from Rockler (item # 24597) I purchased back in March but I just checked and they are still available.

It’s great to have grandkids to make something like a horse for. I used the same pattern and it has lasted thru 2 granddaughters. I had looked for quite a while for patterns and think that is the best one.

Brian;
Thanks for sharing. I am in the process of making the same rocker for my granddaughter. Your post has been helpful. I guess I need to get withit because my project is not yet complete. Not to worry still have 9 days.

She will love it and so will your great grandchildren! Did you sign and date it? It will surely be a family heirloom.

I love that rocking horse and you have done a great job on it. It’s always nice to be able to build something for a loved one.

Could you please send Santa’s elves my way? I need one of those carefully built rocking horses for my grand child.
