Well, I took the pen plunge this last weekend and made my first pen, it is the one on the right side made of Bloodwood. The other seven pens I made this evening out of Zebra Wood to give to some of my coworkers. I was surprised how easy it was to make them, I did have one that did not make it this evening, I was trying to get ultra thin but somehow I don’t think that the brass tube is supposed to show through the wood.

and the addiction begins..wait til you play with some larger pens like designer and cigar, you’ll have pen kits coming out your ears. Just don’t forget with each new style of pen is a different set of bushing and drill bits. this is one of those hobbies that will pay for itself. Great pens,

Nice work!,
Looking forward to doing my first ones in a couple of weeks. Keep at it, it can only get easier. I’m trying to learn about finishes and different styles as fast as I can.

Have your say...
