Badger Hair Shaving Brushes and Razors

I was inspired by an ad I saw in Fine Woodworking for shaving brush and razor hardware kits. One is african blackwood and the other is cocobolo. Finished with super glue. Got the hardware from the golden nib.

really nice. Where did you get the badger bristles?

I much prefer the brush over that pesky aerosol can stuff…too noisy first thing in the morning.

I have often thought of making my own as well, I use a brush and shaviing mug everyday on my ugly mug. Thanks for posting the inspiration!

These look great. I made my dad this same set with a holder for his birthday. They use the same tubes as slimline pens so you don’t need a ton of extra stuff to complete them. I made mine from cocobolo but I really like the African blackwood. Sure beats a Bic disposable.
