My hometown lighthouse done on Red Cedar 12” x 16.5”.
This is the first of a list of lighthouses I want to burn. I have always loved lighthouses, especially this one. I don’t know why I waited so long to burn it :)

Doris, Nicely done. It captures the Lighthouse very well. I visited Barnegat a number of times with my parents. Have not been there though for a number of years. Thanks for posting and the reminder :)

I have stopped by to see this Lighthouse and I have a friend who grew up near this lighthouse. I am going to send this link to her. You did a wonderful job on this and yes you should certainly do more of them, they will sell at shows.

Very nice, never thought of burning wood. I burned wood as a boy scout many years ago.

I spent every summer in Surf City as a child and well into my 20’s. Great work! I have a ceramic of Ol’ Barney that I found in a gift store many years ago. I like yours better!

Great memories. Thanks!

Thanks for the nice comments, I really enjoyed doing this piece. I’m working on a Stormy Portland Head right now. I think I will enjoy doing Lighthouses.
