Santa Spirit

This is kind of a unique project. It is part relief, part round. It is carved from a piece of poplar (my new favorite wood). He is 4 1/4” tall, 7/8” across the front and 3/4” deep. He is also a shelf sitter. The idea for the shelf sitter came from one of Whittling Joe’s projects, a carver buddy on MySpace.com.
