This is a Story Cross that was designed by Steve Good, I made it for the gift exchange that our Sunday School Class has every year. I really liked having the Nativity scene in a cross and think that Steve did a great job laying this one out.

The Cross is ¼ inch Birch plywood cut on my scroll saw and the base is a chunk of Brazilian Cherry that I turned on my lathe and applied 3 coats of Johnsons paste wax to ( I just got my lathe two weeks ago and this is the first project I used it for ). The last picture is Steve Good’s rendition of the Story Cross.
