Another cutting board for a Christmas gift. I think that it turned out a lot better than my first couple of cutting boards. Making these things is addictive!
The board is rock maple and purpleheart.

Great color combination. Maple and purpleheart were made for each other. Nice work.

This was my first attempt at the color combination…...the Pheart changed quite a bit after being oiled . before oil after oil

Don’t ya just love purpleheart? Combined with maple, it just sits there and purrs.

I’m planning my own first cutting board soon. Wish me luck, fellow canuck.
