I installed this combination laundry, trash and recycle cabinet for a customer last month.
The last picture shows what you saw when you entered the house from the garage which is most of the time, and they wanted something to hide the plumbing without redoing it and have the cabinet functional. The double bin drawer is for trash and recycleables and the single is the laundry hamper and no your eyes aren’t playing trix on you, the back of the bins are tapered to clear the pipes. There is a lip around the tops of the bins to secure bags so they don’t slip in with the contents.
I was a little concerned about having the cabinet come in front of the washer in case the owner wanted a new front load style, but she was positive that she would not have one of those in her house. She also wanted the cabinet on feet even though she will have to get down on her hands and knees to dust under it. She didn’t believe that I could scribe a toe kick tightly to the floor.

That is a terrific design and execution. I love the purposeful use of space.
