This is a two sided cabinet. Needed a cabinet to fill a odd builders space. To the left of the entry to the den is a space 24’ wide 36” deep and 9 ft tall. It was dead space that was not useful. So I build a two sided shelf for this space. One side of the shelf face the den and the other side faces the hall. The lower section of the cabinet is open . So you can open either side the lower storage and be able to access anything stored there in the area. The space now very useful and cleaned up somewhat

Very cool. I love to make available spaces useful too. What wood did you use? Kids and grandkids may be tempted to use that lower section as crawlspace from one area to the other. Good luck with that. —Norm
