Handle is diamond wood. Stand is lacewood with Sitka blacktail antler. Finished with 3 coats of Tung oil.

I like it! the carved handle reminds me of a Japanese-style wrapped handle. Nice!

When I saw the picture on the front page, I thought “what the heck is that and why would someone post something like that!” But,...After I opened it, I thought WOW! That is WICKED COOL!

I like the knife and the stand, very good craftsmanship. May have to try knifemaking again. The last
couple I made were for my sons and seem to be standing up pretty good in hunting and skinning usage.
I had to go back and look at the rest of your work, it is all good, makes me tempted to take up pipe
smoking again, now that I may have slowed down enough to keep it going.
