This was a pretty simple one afternoon build. It is utilitarian design makes it simple but effective.

I had some extra help with the layout and design, Buck and Leroy.

Nice Pooh! Just don’t let Buck or Leroy handle the rifles!

Looks like that’ll do the job, Pooh. Nice work!

Looks like there’s a couple good dogs who need a treat, though. Arf!

Neil – those are some good looking helpers. Shooting bench looks good too. You just need a couple of cushions.

That looks really stable, I like it. Tony’s gun rest looks really functional as well.
I’m going to guess, Leroy is the one with the smile on his face?

Nice! I have to settle for what is at the range, when I go shooting. I live in a city and they get all soggy and hard to light if one shoots off a gun in the city limits. I wouldn’t mind a little property in the county, where it’s allowed “with due regard for safety”.

Is it made of doug fir?

It is a “Pine Species” from the big Green box store. Its all treated lumber since it will live outside.

Nice, Neil! I have also favorited your design. I need one of these before hunting season next year!

I’m betting that Buck and Leroy could care less about such a good looking bench
they probably want to go out and fetch
