Project Information

Well I just wanted to show htl that when it is cold outside my shop is not clean. The last time I made a post he said that my shop was to clean. After building my oops 4 wheel drive bucket truck I decided that I needed a tool truck, so I went to the scrap and found this . As for what kind of wood I made it out of,,, well its this and that and that other scrap.
I think this will be going to one of my grandsons for Christmas , and by the way merry Christmas to everyone.

Super nice!!!
Love the idea of a tool truck, and it's funny because this morning I was thinking of the fun I had building my water well drilling rig and was thinking a TOOL TRUCK with welder and the like would be cool.
So we're on the same wave length me thinks. LOL
I've just got out of the hospital with one monster of an ear infection. OUCH!!!

I need some better pictures of them pretty looking wheels!!!!!!!!!!!

htl, the tires are my first try at making my own wheels. I will have to get some pictures of my gigs. I use my big 4 " table saw to cut the because I do not have a full size table saw in my shop down stairs. I do not have much space to work so I keep making and buying smaller tools.

You been holding out on us? Does that mean two workshops or have you another one hidden from the missus?

Bud for these models and small parts small tools are better and safer in most things I would think.
I love my Dewalt contractors saw and I use 7 1/4" blades most of the time.
The treads just add that little extra to bring our models to life.
