This frame was created to fill a void we have on the wall in the dining room. Colors of the print matched to bring out that rich wall color above it. A happy accident occured that was rectified by chamfering the inner portion of the frame to about a 40 degree angle. It was supposed to be the same proportions of the curly maple on the outer section. This accentuated the wenge to highlight the darker lines in the print. What started out as a “oh, no!” turned into a “how nice is that!”
Tip for the mounting: We took the print to Michaels where they gave it a canvas matting so that glass wasn’t needed, and then a foam backing followed by the mounting and hardware to hang it. All included in the price for the matting treatment.

I like it! It’s perfect for that art. Understated and doesn’t get in the way… enhances the art like a well done frame should. Nice job!
By the way, I think that dog likes me and wants to come live with me ;-) What a cutey!

I like the frame a lot. It compliments the art it doesn’t compete with it.
