Out Church location in Wylie, TX, Faith Lutheran Wylie, will be holding a Christmas craft fait tomorrow. I found time to make a few items for them to sell and generate money for needed causes.
We have several boxes, with lids and a couple without. The larger box has a scroll saw cross on top and wooden hinges in the back. My first attempt (really second as the first set did not work) at making wooden hinges. Fun idea but I’ll wait a whil;e before I do that again.
The large box has spline miter corners and the others have box joints. All have five coats of poly followed by finishing wax.
Also, have two crayola trucks for fun. A special thanks to Steve Good for the design of the cross and the trucks. Many thanks to lots of you for posting great ideas which inspired me in many ways.
