I had a customer order 46 of these boards a couple years ago.There is 203 pieces of wood in each one.
Maple, Black Walnut Purple Heart, Mahogany, Dogwood.
I made up a block for each component (top, side, & ends) and re-sawed it. and glued them to a wood block.
Would I do it again? NO, NOT EVER!!!! Well maybe if the price was right.
The block shown is a reject, didn’t glue up right.
