Nice bowl, but couldn’t you find a hunk of wood without a hole in it? ;-)

Nice! Let that bad boy get a sun tan; it’ll be precious in about 5 years.

I really like the edge treatment, and a nice compound taper. AtomJack’s right – nothing makes cherry as pretty as light and time.

Nice bowl. The hole adds a lot to it.

Love the knot in it, gives it so much more visual interest. Nice work.

Nothing nicer than cherry… This bowl has a great shape, the rim detail is also good.

Nice turn my friend.

Nice job.

I remember when the “Cherry Bowl” was a college football game played on New Years Day in the Pontiac Silverdome.

Very nice bowl. The knot gives it character!! Just watch it from time to time and and it will darken to a beautiful reddish brown. I have a lidded bow that had a branch growing through the piece and out the top of the lid. “Defects” as someone would call them make them very unique.

Thanks for sharing with us!!
