Nice bowl, but couldn’t you find a hunk of wood without a hole in it? ;-)

Nice! Let that bad boy get a sun tan; it’ll be precious in about 5 years.

I really like the edge treatment, and a nice compound taper. AtomJack’s right – nothing makes cherry as pretty as light and time.

Nice bowl. The hole adds a lot to it.

Love the knot in it, gives it so much more visual interest. Nice work.

Nothing nicer than cherry… This bowl has a great shape, the rim detail is also good.
Nice turn my friend.

I remember when the “Cherry Bowl” was a college football game played on New Years Day in the Pontiac Silverdome.

That’s a beautiful bowl and I love the wood.

Very nice bowl. The knot gives it character!! Just watch it from time to time and and it will darken to a beautiful reddish brown.
I have a lidded bow that had a branch growing through the piece and out the top of the lid. “Defects” as someone would call them make them very unique.
Thanks for sharing with us!!
