Two mobile additions to my shop

#1 is mobile base for my little 10” bandsaw – the height matches the height of the outfeed table, and this allows cutting long boards or large sheets of plywood without adding an auxiliary table.

Added powerpoint allows easily plugging both saw and light with a single wire. A base also serves as a cabinet for saw accessories.

I used my favorite – 3/4” birch plywood, finished with wipe-on poly.

#2 is an infeed/downdraft table – it is large enough and sturdy enough so I can safely cut 96” long sheets using table saw – the outfeed is 50×50” and table saw extension is 40” – plenty of support. The downdraft box with 4” dust collector port allows sanding with minimum sawdust release.

I really like the sanding table.
I need to do something like this. Right now I just use my 5” DC hose propped up on my workbench.

Thanks for sharing.

Nice work, always good to have the feature of matched height for machines. Saves time and hassle.
