First i have to say that the idea for this project from another Lumberjocks User : Tom Regnier.
http://lumberjocks.com/projects/349930. I don’t know if its his original idea. But i liked it a lot and wanted to do it for a while now. Thanks to him for sharing.

But what i am really happy with the “grapes” and “Wine glass” shapes i made using the scroll saw. First time for me at engraving something.

It was the perfect occasion to use theses thin pieces of exotic scraps i accumulate. I often resaw my 4/4 wood to a little over 1/2”. So i have a lot of theses less than 1/4 inch stock. Tigerwood(goncalo alves), purple heart, flame maple, padauk and white oak.

Thanks for viewing

Very nice work. I am surrounded by wineries where I live. These would be popular.

Just noticed your message. Thanks Tom. By the way, you are an accomplished woodworker. I took a look at your projects page many times. I am a big fan of your “Pennsylvania spice box”... Stunning. Maybe another project to “retro-engineer” :P and of course, your wine boxes :)
