Was a little burned out on long hard projects, so decided to use up some sticks I’ve saved forever.
Thought I’d do some quick mushroom canes to have on hand for friends.
Well the turtle happened and I really like the comfort and feel. Plus it’s kind of cute.
Got a new idea now. See you in about a month. :]..................

Neat project. Thanks for making time to share.
P.S. – Reminds me of the tale ”the turtle on a fencepost”.

Thanks folks!!
TJ65, no real hurry. I have a new idea I’m liking, feel a little like too much prior info, might jinx it.
I’ll say, it will have a polar bear.

Nice design.
Reminds me hearing someone called a fence post turtle. I asked my friend what he was talking about and he said, “You ever seen a turtle on a fence post?” (And yes I live in Texas). I said, “No…”. And he said, “Well if you do, you’ll wonder how they got there, because they don’t belong there and have no real good way to get down from where they’ve ended up.”
Shrug. Useful description for some people…
