The pictures 1 and 2 are of a perfume sprayer from rockler.com done in Black Walnut. Pictures 3 and 4 are a cigar pen in Maple. I’m learning that turning Maple on a lathe is quite challenging. It seems when the sandpaper touches the bushings, then passes over the maple again, the filings from the bushings come off on the maple and leave ugly black stains that have to be removed with more sanding. This Leaves the maple looking rather dirty if don’t keep an eye on things. So much to learn.
