Hi folks,

my fifth project was a base cabinet für my new bandsaw. I planned a height to the top edge of the saw table from 1040 mm (41 in). The construction wood is 74×74 mm (2,9×2,9 in), the beech laminated plate has an thickness of 18 mm (0,7 in).
The base cabinet is 800 mm (31,5 in) wide and 65 mm (2,56 in) deep. The two doors are slidable on the “Hettich Slideline”.

Here a few photos.

I am quite envious of your shop by the looks of the projects you’ve posted! This is quite a bench for your bandsaw, as are all the other cabinets/benches/clamp rack you’ve built. Very nice – and makes time in your shop just that much more enjoyable building your own shop furniture!

The photo of your bench popped up on my Pinterest homepage this morning. Great design and solid, nice job!
