This is a replica of the sculpture made by Remington, This was drawen and dezigned by my wife. It has two hundred and twenty eight parts. the woods are walnut, hard maple, brideye maple, yellow hart, cherry, mahogany, oak, hackbeery, ebony, and mineral stained maple. The wood is 1-1/2 inch to 1/2 inck thick, mounted on a 1/4 inch plywood backboard. It is 4 foot by 5 foot long. It has 7 coats of clear gloss lacquer for a finnish. It took over a month to make from start to finnish. The second pic. is the mate to the set. It is the same size. All comments welcome. Thanks for looking.

End of the Trail is a sculpture by James Earle Fraser.

We have a casting of one in the museum where I work. Other than that…..excellent job! It’s really cool to see it in wood.
