First attempt at woodworking about 1.5 years ago, and I did it all with a hand saw, hand plane, sander and some clamps and glue. Came out in my mind like a POS but it is ok for a first attempt.

Hey, it’s a great start! Nice joinery on the top boards. You learn by doing, and you’re off to a good start.

LOL on the POS. It looks good to me, it’s definitely not a pos. The wood is in great shape, it’s all the same type of wood, it all matches. Your cuts seem to be clean and square, and the same length, and the finish looks uniform. Well built, and solid construction. Your project is a success.
