I had been working on a rocking chair for a couple of weeks when my grandson came over for Thanksgiving Dinner and wanted to help Grandpa build something. He was putzing around the shop putting together blocks of scrap wood while I was gluing up some parts. He brought me a handful of scraps and said “lets make a racecar…....a RED racecar.” Needless to say work on the chair stopped and this is what we built If you have any interest in the chair you can see it’s progress in my blog.

The smile says it all. Must have felt great to hang out and share that kind of time with your grandson! Very cool.

That’s a keeper. That little guy is going to remember spending time with you whenever he looks at or plays with that car. Time well spent.
